Mind Mapping
A great tool for VISUAL LEARNERS, a mind map is a creative technique for exploring ideas and concepts. It helps you organize information graphically, so you can think through and evaluate, as well as generate new ideas.
It's such a creative tool, and I've included links to some online resources in ALPHABETICAL ORDER because your preferences may differ from mine!
Learning Styles
We all learn differently, and knowing how your brain takes in, processes, and retains information most efficiently will help you to become a better learner. The most common learning styles are visual, auditory, read/write, and kinesthetic (VARK), each providing a distinct pathway to understanding new material.

Check out VARK LEARN to take a learning styles questionnaire. You will also find some resources and insights to how you can use the information about your preferred learning style to your advantage. (I am not endorsing VARK Learn; I just think they offer some solid support!)
